The medium matters a lot in the sharing of the message. I'm quite comfortable in sharing my views through words but not sounds. I hitchhiked, I did a lot of adventures. I traveled a lot of places. I took out series of events but, the reason I didn't take up vlogging is for few reasons.
One, I do not want to fall into the trap of narcissistic thinking.
I do not want my thoughts to be strayed by appearance.
When you listen, everything matters. Your facial expressions, face, and a lot more. Am I able to afford all that in the timespan I have? NO.
These days, people come up saying, start vlogging. Start this. Start that. Talking about social media and the endless feed. How are we thinking and what are we expecting in a deep sense?
I hope to talk to the YouTubers in person one time and see what goes in their mind during the whole process of recording videos in the experience.
During vlogging, we need to share our thoughts, reflections to a device. How deeply can we reflect when we are conscious of our appearance, words, the way we deliver it. Can these factors affect our reflection? If so, is that a reflection worth reflecting?
