Friends- A and her Apple Analogy
Since Adhira is moving to India, we decided to catch up in our usual style with flowing conversations and a lot of updates. To be present, listen and share what's happening in life has become a rarity. I'm happy that Adhira and I are on the same page on what really matters in friendship. Despite the busy schedule, we decided to catch up for limited time talking about what's happening in our lives. She is joining her new job soon after she moves to India. I wish the best for her and hope the transition gets easy as days pass. Both of us in our banter, shared how we're seeing the rest of 2025. We talked of our research, thesis. She is one person who'd encourage my passion to different ideas rather than question the purpose of the quest for knowledge. Being an avid reader, she empathises with anyone who loves to read and learn. She's been a great support throught out my thesis writing, believing the potential in the idea I have, everytime I stumbled. A little bit of traveling stories and reminiscing the memories. I caught up myself bringing Sarah into our conversation. However she is as always patient, listened to me and didn't advice as ever. It's nice to be heard and that's what it takes. Be present and listen. Thanks Adhira for being there and listening to me all the time. Taking a pause from our conversations, we took out the gifts we got for each other. 'I may rush due to a scheduled meeting, let me share it now,' she handed out the book she picked for me with a nice message. I shared the postcard I got for her. An exchange of a few written words marking the date and time, we headed out discussing how we're growing. Seeing her, I wondered how I was during my 25s. She is more wiser than I ever was in 25s. She is traveling to Italy, Austria. I requested her to share my greetings to Davinci, Pope, Mozart and other dear kind souls who live in their town in whatever forms they chose.
In the last leg of conversation, she shared an Apple analogy. Here's A's words on life through Apple analogy- Everyone are born with an data architecture, software and operating system. The idea is to get upgrade, time to time to live life smoothly. A recounted people who are already born as IPad Pro, Mac pro etc who has less upgrades in this current life. She referred to herself as Ipod who is upgrading to IPad pro through regular upgrades time to time. Thanks for sharing this analogy. Hope to meet you again in my pro version.
