Book- The Space Between Us by Thrity Umrigar

Randomly picked up the book at exhibition sale. Beautiful cover made me buy this book. yeah, the cover is one of the reasons I bought it. Started at leisure time.

Story of women hailing from different classes. The plot is simple yet Thrity Umrigar wrote in a way I felt for the characters that were depicted. Reading this book reminded me of positive opinions on fiction. Fiction can share the truth. Fiction can indeed do that. Love the way the story narration. Quite a page-turner. It's purely writing that let me feel for the characters. I'm glad to read books written by female writers. To see the world from their point of view. The way book ended as an image, it seemed perfect. With too many assumptions and imaginations of the story, I spent more time on imagining rather than enjoying it. Writers claim to write stories but some way or the others we give away a little of our life. Good one.

Behind the X

It's such a delight to work with awesome people who share the same beliefs and also with people who help us to define ourselves better.

Meghana & Sloka were there, helping the young team guiding in every possible way. The confidence they instilled is something that's visible in the output the team has put. "It's always not about the guiding,  it's about being there and telling them to have their own way," says Meghana who's been rock pillar to the team helping even at her most busy times.

Sloka, being there throughout the process on the ground, making things happen with rest of the crew worked better for the community as well as for the things for the good of the team.

Being there and looking at the team bonding over each other and backing each other every time,  is the most beautiful moment I witnessed in these times.

Cheers Meghana & Sloka
