Education- Learn the Alpahabet

Visiting Gulbarga School, I found a lot of activities around letter identification, letter writing, word making and much more. What caught my attention was the letter making through stones. I was elated to see kids using a lot of different material to write alphabets. 

"This is montessori method. Generally either they take beads, stones, leaves to let them create the shape of the alphabets." 

"Jane Sahi suggests a lot of similar practices. Asking the kids to write alphabets on sand, in air with legs, with body and with elbow." 

I found the alphabet writing interesting. Why do we always have to start with the paper. Lets play around with the shapes and also learn the alphabets. 

Soliloquy- Platform

 Tree near my house acts as a pit stop for cotton candy seller, street hawkers and many other. Every time I come, one is having his lunch, other is busy in checking his phone, others having their lunch. Everyone have their own way to rest.

Friends- Pursuit of Passion

Vishnu is moving to Mumbai taking up a new role. I still remember the days when he was mulling over the idea of quitting engineering and taking up his passion. Vishnu is an inspiration to pursue what one loves. Amazing work Vishnu.

Book- A journey through my roots by Arakkal

The simple narrative style in the book is no match to the grandeur paintings presented in the last pages of the book. With a lot of  dark colors, Arakkal painted the portraits and scenes which were described in the beginning of the book. 

Movie- Pinky Memsaab

 I remember glancing this movie. Glad I watched this movie in full. Pinky from Pakistan travels to Dubai to work as maid for Mehr family. While Mehr deals a lot of issues with her husband and her writing, she grooms Pinky and helps her for a good outlook. 

Depicting a little of Pakistan and a little of Dubai, this is a feel good movie. Every character is neatly sketched out. Santosh from UP, Grace from Phillipines, Pinky from Pakistan, Mehr from a well-groomed family. 

At the end of the day, everyone tries to do what they love and find happiness in life. 

Movie- Ninnila Ninnila

Under master chef, works a genius overweight Dev, who relies more on his intuition while the other newbie keeps noting the recipe formulas to crack the code. With a simple breezy screenplay, meets the couple who shares their journey with each other. Loved the movie. Premam fame music director has composed for this movie as well. The music is also one of the most important contributing factors for the feel-good movie.
