Four Miles to Freedom by Faith Johnston

Maniratnam referred to this book sharing about the movie Kaatru Veliyidai. Finally got a chance to read this.

Four miles to freedom written by Faith Johnson is an account of IAF officers escapes attempt after Indo-Pak war in 1971.
The war that gave out a new country, Bangladesh. 93000 PoW of Pakistan were detained in India. 700PoW IAF was detained in Pakistan.

It's interesting how both the county officers did their work. Dilip wished to escape and it was quite an adventurous stint. They were four miles away to freedom and one should read the book to know what happened next.
