Comes Jan, a new year to plan ahead. As teams gather to document the annual plans. The annual plans are spanning anywhere from 20 to 30 pages. So much of data and text, it's very difficult to see whether the plan is helpful to plan ahead in real.
There was effort by the teams. If not, there won't be those 30 page plan document but, a little effort and focus would make the plans specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and mention the time frame with which they can achieve.
Goal setting and planning seemed to be the main elements to get the work done. There's a lot of learnings but, how do we communicate these to the teams who have already have their understanding of planning and goal settiing?
