We are the Music Makers

T M Krishna talked about his book Sebastian and Sons. Informative and learning discourse on the nuances of social, cultural elements in the music field.

One interesting aspect that he touched upon, is 'knowledge.' What's regarded and celebrated as knowledge. The more physical it is, the less consideration we give it to it. We celebrate Mridangam players but, not the skill of Mridangam making.

Another argument, he touched upon, is the problem of supply chain business. "It's the usual supply chain issue. The makers do not get the spotlight."

But, Krishna talks about the factors that hamper them to get the spotlight, even if one attempts for.
