When we cease to understand the world is alternate historic fiction written in spanish and translated by Nathan West. After a long time, I got onto a book that's a page turner. Associating with all the theories I have studied since high school. I also contemplated on how differently people perceive the world who did not spend time in learning science.
This book reveals the personal histories of the mathematicians, scientists who have spent their unraveling the mysteries of universe through the language of mathematics and physics. How far does one go in the quest of knowing the trugh of universe? I loved reading about the German-french mathematician Grothendieck. Also hiesenberg's story. Would love to read this again when I want to delve into physics and math stories.
Krithi, Atys and I were discussing on insanity, society and few other topics. Out of blue, Krithi handed out the book mentioning, 'Talking of insanity and society, this is an interesting book to check out." I like readers who come up with nice suggestions. Thanks Krithi for suggesting this book.
