Geneva Journals- The Sunrise Swim
I'm waking up early to head to the lake as the it is hardly filled with any crowd. At the same time, there's a sunrise, which I keep looking forward to. A twenty minute swim in the lake and catching up on the sunrise is giving a great start to the day keeping me focussed and driven. I'm so happy I'm able to take cold swims and also find the time to swim in the summers. Overall, I'm swimming throughout the year. I decided to head toward Per du Lac for a swim. As I was walking across the lake, I spotted 4 youngsters diving into water time and again, enjoying it. It was a beautiful sight to see them being active during the early hours. There's a sense of pure bliss being playful. And we can find play in almost everything.
As I was about to get into water, I spotted a public art piece literally in the water. Such a great start to the day. I continued swimming in the water and waited for the Sun the show up. The hues are so brilliant that I keep trying to capture them in phone hoping I freeze the moment forever. I continued swimming until the Sun rose through the Alps. The boys and I walked out of the lake at the same time to start our day. As we're about to begin the day, the lake was getting treated with the morning runners.
I'm seeking more and more solitude in nature, even in the swiss land who are famous for being silent. I don't know if I'm joining the tribe loving the solitude- Dasht E Tanhai.
