I was walking in the old town and spotted this cute gallery filled with intricate, bright coloured paintings. On being asked, I was given an intro on who are the artists. This is a group exhibition by australian artists. Looking at the artists, I got reminded of sweet coincidences. Recently, I worked on a presentation on how aboriginal education needs to be brought into curriculum a part of decolonising the education process. I also got reminded of Gond and Bhil art back from home. It's time to change the narratives of indigenuous communities and present them in the way they're.I feel they're undervalued, misperceived throughout the history.
