Friends- T for Thesis, Treat & Tridisha

Tridisha and I go a long way sharing kitchen since the day I arrived in Geneva. I saw her at the kitchen cooking some curry using coconut milk or cream. I was so amused by the way she was cooking like a pro. Over the time, we always caught up over food in the kitchens. Tridisha also moved out of GM student residence during the same time of my exit from the residence.

So sweet of Tridisha to check up on the deadline date asking if I had submitted it. Even though, I finished my submission ten days earlier and was having all the time in the world, it was nice she got reminded of it and checked up on me. Together we decided to catch up and T threw a treat for all the Geneva journey to  celebrate. In the past T suggested a Thai place for dinner and I always wanted to try it out. Without much hassle, we decided on the place and met on a weekend.

The Treat

We ordered an Ice Tea(Sanjna's highly recommended drink) along with other exotic dishes. As we began to start our conversations, we were exchanging updates, giving each other space to share and listen. The act of friendship is to be present and practice vulnerability. Many a times people are craving for connection but struggle to practice vulnerability. I'm so happy that we could manage to be attentive and share time whenever possible despite the busy and draining schedules. As we finished the dinner, we headed to concerts nears Museum of Art and History. We checked out few concerts and I showed T a favourite place of mine in Geneva where I spend a lot of time reading, writing.

That place also reminded me of our outing to Satigny for Wine tasting. We sat under a tree and caught up in conversations without a worry of time.  After spending long time enjoying the sunset, we decided to head to other concert venues.

Enjoyed the percussion enroute, we walked through the crowded Parc De Bastions and checked a lot of concerts. We came across a foreign group performing Indian classical music and dance. Lord Krishna wouldn't mind a french Gopika performing a piece for him, I felt. The world is all his creation, so are french, Indian and many other people. After strolling around for a lot of time, we called it a day realising that Techno was playing all over, a genre both of us would give it a pass. Thanks Tridisha for the time, treat and tales. Day well spent.
