Geneva Journals- The Lunch Run

In the earlier days when I just moved to Geneva, I saw people running during the lunch hour, I wondered how does it work. I'm so used to work out either in the early mornings or evenings, I see people running, working out at very random hours. Fast forward to two years, I'm so used to run during the lunch hour around 12 pm. There's no specific time to run. Put your shoes on and just run!

The Little Flowers

The Three Friends

I woke up early but, couldn't push myself to run in the early hours. I began my run around 11 am. I took the familiar path. I began to notice the little flowers at very random places. Like these flowers growing from the walls.

Crossed the Jet Deau, the villa barton. I notice three friends enjoying the sunny weather with some food and beers. Earlier in Jaipur, when I used to cycle to work, I used to notice a few loners enjoying their drink sitting on the walls. I always felt bad for them as they don't have company to drink with. Drinking is a social activity. If you make it a solo activity, either he's addicited to it or he doesn't have friends to enjoy.

Crossed the lake and began to listen to music. As I began to TM Krishna's song as a part of Edict Project, I was elated to run while listening to his voice. The long runs feel like a breeze now. In 80 minutes, I run 10 km and reached home with a nice push to start my day.
