Geneva Journals- The Jet D eau Walk

Jet D'Eau is always there and I only visited thrice enjoying it's charm. I always enjoyed the sight from far. Jet Deau can be seen from everywhere. I love the ephemeral nature of it. Everywhere we see there's water.

As I walked through Parc De Bastions, I enjoyed the golden hour where I played the chess. Went onto the longest bench and enjoyed the sunset. I got reminded of the sunsets I enjoyed in Germany. Sun sets daily and if only we get a chance to cherish it daily, we're more grounded and live a easy life. That's what I feel. I continued my walk, passed the St.Pierre's cathedral, walked around and saw Jet Deau from far, stepped down and walked across the old town. Strolling across, I came across Opera Gallery and other galleries where there were Giocomatti paintings and few other famous artists. I walked along the lake, enjoyed the Jet Deau. While returning, I decided to celebrate April.9, the day when I wrote In between the bridge poem and it ended up as my first novel title. I went to near by Gelato shop. I ordered Chocolate, Fior di Latte and also Chocolate Ginger. The store owner while talking to me, shared what he likes about India, he mentioned that he doesn't enjoy India's icecreams as they're industrialised, he was mentioning about Baskin Robbins and other company based ice creams.

After exchanging a good greetings, I walked out with my gelato and enjoyed the photo exhibition placed near Jet DEau. Saw it from far again. Got on the bus to Cornavin and walked to home. Good day.
