Reflecting on how art is perceived, I wonder what intentions can gather a shock value or entices you to reflect, respond, contemplate and express in your own ways in your own time. Six years ago, my book- The Wordless Conversation got published and I have received a lot of responses on my writings. Inspired by wordless conversations I wrote these words and again it’s readers’ words about the wordless conversation that is inspiring me.Many words of appreciation, likes, comments are shared. Apart from them, there are readers who put a lot of efforts to support and appreciate my writing endeavour. There are many ways to encourage writers.
Be intentional and appreciate.
Share your thoughts, responses to the writer. If you've read their work, try to share your honest opinions, thoughts with them.
Buy their books. If you already have them, buy the book and gift it to your friends.
I feel abundant to have so many loved ones who express their love in many ways. For the book, The Wordless Conversation, I've received responses from friends, loved ones, strangers in many ways. A friend wrote a detailed review on each poem in a word documents, a friend wrote a blog, others shared two words of appreciation in-person, a stranger responded with a poem, another friend wrote lines against poem titles in excel sheet and shared it. I'm so happy to see how people around me have been attentive readers and put efforts to communicate it. Those acts of love inspires me to be attentive, intentional and create what I care about. Here are some responses I received for The Wordless Conversation. Reading these responses shared by the readers after 6 years made my day.
Poems | Tried putting in words what I felt |
The ineffable soul | The description covering everything is just so beautiful. |
Her | She is what I think about her. I can discuss this one line with you for an hour. |
Kohl eyed | Anything but you is baleful. Damn. |
Beware of silence | Listened to my silence, its scarier than the world. I mean it truly is. Though we spend most of our time with ourselves, its our own silence we're terrified of. |
Oh dear wave | To receive you only to leave you. In happiness and in peace. Absolutely love this line. Also, im sure you knew this would be my fav. |
Empty Canvas | Nothing could be seen, everything could be looked at. You had me at this line renny. Damn. |
No clue. Out of blue | Pleased I'm to be deaf to them. So amazing! I should learn this art. Also love "I'm travelling to learn and learning to travel". It's a complete cycle of learning and unlearning. Such ana amazing insight. |
Chains of Freedom | I'm out. I'm free. Curbed by the chains of freedom. Damn. The irony and the fact of life summed up in one line renny. Amazing |
Life | When the words changed from life is fragile to Life is damn fragile. It hurt all the chords. |
Know | Perks of being unknown. Going back to roots is so important. |
Perfume of the light | I fight for piece talking about peace. Summed up a lot of chaos going on right now. Amazing. "sea never returned what it took from him". It almost always never will. Hurts dude. |
To be on the road | I don’t want to quote anything cause its not about the words in it. Its about the feel when I read it. Absolute fav. |
Mess | Love the wordplay in the title. And yea, "Let me be myself". The toughest mode to feel free in without any shackles. |
Stories | Everything begins and continues with stories. Sums up how we met too. |

This is a warmth response I ever got on the book I wrote. Reader included all the titles of the poems I've written and shared a response. Thanks reader for reading my book, also for writing this piece.
Hi. Hope lockdown is treating you fine
and
You are staying safe & hydrated.
*May be. Or may be not.*
Am not sure. But I do hope.
.
Truly, speech can go only so far.
But to brighten someone's day,
with just a smile,
Unknown of what they are going through...
A *wordless conversation* is worth it indeed.😊
.
Kahin suna hai,
"Ae bheed , tu itni khamosh kyon hai?
Sannate se seekh, cheekhna kise kehte hain!"
The scream of silence ....
warns us to *beware of silence*,
surely, for we might get to hear those
realities of and about ourselves,
which we don't want to hear
or have been running away from.
.
Truly. How much more common,
can violence being romanticized and
expectations being fed, get?
Wish, one could really unveil the love and it's hostile truth,
with the help of *St.Valentine*. Or without.
"He already crossed the side and faded out of my sight."
Can't be undone, I agree.
But sometime when *Life* makes one feel his presence
not anywhere but within,
and when one asks, "After all this time?",
hope he'd answer, "Always."
Getting to know, *Know* , was interesting and funny.
.
More than anything, I believe,
nature makes one feel alive.
*Petrichor* is one of those life
enriching experiences irrespective of age.
One can find oneself too, in my opinion, besides god.
Retrieves faith, doesn't it?
.
I knew it's always good to have multiple perspectives.
But *Deprived of the sea* couldn't have made it clearer.
For, now I know it's important too along with being good,
to have multiple perspectives.
It's also about empathy.
"For the world will never end
But there seemed to be a human end."
Can't agree more. However, humans like you,
with art being the essence of their deeds may live on.
Shall live on. Through their art. *There's no end*, to artists.
Unlike other poems I have read so far,
I could relate to many of them.
May be due to the way I interpreted them.
It was a happy read.
Thank you, for "THE WORDLESS CONVERSATION."
Good day. Stay safe. 😊
i liked a few poems.
Know (Confusing and meaningful amusing)
No clue out of the Blue- I like this title
Deprived of the Sea (Very nice)
Angry human's Tale
Mess (the way the title is written very creative)
Her & Star (sweet and short)
in between the bridge - Felt abrupt but still nice (some beauty in being incomplete n un finished too..)
