Soliloquies- Memories

I have the difficulty of confining a memory to a photo, video, text & a message. These medium has a certainty to an extent which I wish to have a tussle with. Parce que, memories, I feel are malleable through time and forgetting is a beautiful phenomenon. The act of forgetting and memorizing is a hide and seek we play in our lives. Instead, we’re playing hide and seek with the digital space, cloud storage, IMG, PNG, Reel format.  Maybe in the past, peole had tough time with the medium of paper. Memories keep changing. Mediums keep changing. Of course, there’s a change in perception to the memories we have outside of our bodies. The dialogue amongst the medium, the memory and our perception is a wonderful hide and seek game I wish to explore. How do we confine memory to an image? To what extent, the medium influences the way we perceive our memories? how much of it influences the way we perceive those memories? The time spent with Martin takes me back to a lot of stories. I struggle to observe or organize memories into pictures over different mediums. On Instagram platform, in the beginning there was an option of uploading 10 pictures at once, now we have the option of uploading 20 pictures. The way we process memories and the way we make memories is interesting by the influence of the medium.
